About Me

I fell in love with photography at a young age. Of course, at that time, I was much better at taking pictures of people with their heads cut off, as well as taking amazingly blurry pictures of desk corners and sidewalks. And of course I thought they came out amazing. It was more about the wonder of photography, how you can capture a moment in time and have it forever; to see something you created with the click of a button. I remember setting all my toys up for a photoshoot, positioning them just so.

I grew up in Staten Island, NY, where I lost my mother very young. I think that may be what drives me, to make sure that everyone has photos, memories, to look back on. Looking at old photos always brings up memories. Some good, some bad, but all have a place in our lives. They make us who we are.

We moved to NJ the summer I turned 13, where I’ve been ever since! I currently have a young son who is getting tired of having my camera focused on him.

I still have that awe and excitement when I look at the back of my camera, even though I’ve learned how to focus and actually capture the entire subject.
